The Jacksonville Symphony’s Percussion Ensemble will be performing at Amelia Community Theatre on Wednesday, November 2 for the ARIAS fundraiser “Plenty of Percussion.” A sparkling reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the concert taking place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Dessert will be served during intermission and a 50/50 raffle will also be held. Ticket prices are $50 for ARIAS members, $60 for non-members and $20 for students. Each ticket includes two Prosecco or Sparkling Cider drinks and specialty dessert.
Tickets may be purchased through the ACT Box Office at ameliacommunitytheatre.org or by calling 904-261-6749 from Wednesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. ARIAS members will need the event code from the recent email in order to purchase tickets at the member price.
This is the second concert ARIAS has brought to Amelia Island since the pandemic. The Brass Ensemble performed in March 2022 at the Marriott Courtyard- Springhill Suite complex on Atlantic Avenue. Another Ensemble performance is being planned for the spring of 2023.
ARIAS, or “Amelia Residents In Action for the Symphony,” is a 501c3 organization with a threefold mission: to increase exposure to the Jacksonville Symphony, encourage attendance at Symphony concerts in Jacoby Symphony Hall in the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts and support music education in Nassau County Schools.
