Nassau County’s Annual Christmas Tree Lighting is December 6

The Nassau County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) invites you to a festive evening of joy and wonder at the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Robert M. Foster Justice Center (76347 Veterans Way) in Yulee. This FREE, family-friendly event is filled with holiday cheer! Get ready for live performances by the Nassau Community Band and the Royal Amelia Dance Academy. We’ll also have activities for all ages and interests, including a Holiday Vendor Market, Train Rides, Santa Village’s Photo Ops, Food Trucks, and a Kids Zone.

Don’t miss visiting the Vision 2050 Tent, which will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland! Journey through the Candy Cane Forest, explore the Sea of Swirly Twirly Gumdrops, and stroll along Jingle Bells Beach. Stop by Peppermint Point, Chestnut Cove, and other festive stations to share your thoughts on the Vision Plan’s Goals, Actions, and Final Growth Scenario. Collect festive stickers at each station to win a prize that will add sparkle to your holiday season!

BOCC Chairman John Martin stated, “As we wrap up our Bicentennial, we are excited to announce that this year’s Annual Christmas Tree Lighting will be bigger and better than ever. We hope that you can join us for an evening of wholesome family fun as we celebrate Nassau County’s 200th birthday and kick-off the holiday season.”
