Godspell Premiers at Amelia Musical Playhouse beginning on March 31

In Stephen Schwartz’s “Godspell,” Jesus Christ recruits a group of followers and teaches them various lessons through song and dance. Toward the end of the second act, the show begins to follow a more linear narrative as Jesus is betrayed by Judas and eventually crucified.

This is an ensemble show, comprised of ten actors, all of whom are on stage nearly the entire duration of the show. Cast includes Tom Gray (Jesus), Ozzie Medina (John the Baptist / Judas), Audrey Austin, Claire Holmes, Jessica Mainor-Thiele, Chris Thiele, Victoria Moore, Colleen Perry, Mike King and Bob O’Hara. Directed by Bill Ivins with Assistant Director Joe Palmer.
