Amelia Island Jazz Festival’s Big Band Bash Postponed to May 1

The Amelia Island Jazz Festival has decided to postpone its Big Band Bash due to the pandemic. At this point they feel it is still not safe enough for a larger group gathering. AIJF has rescheduled the event for Saturday, May 1st at the OMNI Amelia Island Resort.

“We are excited to announce that instead of the Big Band Bash we will present a new Valentine’s Show for an intimate evening of love songs and swinging jazz, with champagne and chocolates on Saturday, February 13 at Story & Song Bookstore and Bistro featuring the Amelia Island Jazz Festival Little Big Band,” says Les DeMerle, AIJF’s President and Artistic Director. “Limited seating is available in-person. The good news is that we also plan to live-stream this show so you don’t miss a beat!”

“So, for now please stay healthy and thank you for understanding. We look forward to seeing you at the Valentine’s Love Notes and/or at the Big Band Bash Masquerade Ball set for May 1st.” For more information visit www.ameliaislandjazzfestival.com.
