AIGA Inshore Classic is December 2 and 3

AIGA Inshore Classic is presented by the Amelia Island Guides Association each year. At its inception it was the AIGA Spot Tournament with one Category – the legal Redfish with the most spots won the Tournament. In 2021 the tournament was billed as the ‘Support Our Veterans Fishing Tournament” and the format was changed, adding a 2nd Category – heaviest Seatrout.

In 2022 the tournament was renamed the AIGA Inshore Classic. That 2nd Category was changed to be an aggregate of the (1) heaviest Redfish and (1) heaviest Seatrout, along with the original Category of a legal Redfish with the most spots. All entry money is paid out in prizes. There is also a Youth division (youth under the age of 16) for the Redfish Spot Category with prizes and trophies.

There is a silent auction and a raffle, both with some high-quality items that should interest any sportsman or sportslady! Typically there is music, food, and beverages. The 2022 tournament will be hosted by the Old Town Bait and Tackle shop at 1620 North 14th Street, Fernandina Beach, Florida.

The Captains Meeting will be Friday December 2, 2022 and the fishing tournament will be Saturday December 3, 2022. For more information visit https://ameliaislandfishingreport.com/aiga-inshore-classic/
