The renowned French navigator Jean Ribault explored the Florida, Georgia, and Carolina coastlines between 1562-1565. Ribault was in search of colony locations for French Huguenot Christians fleeing persecution. During this 3rd on 3rd, August 19 at 6 p.m., Calvin Bryant of the Jean Ribault Heritage Society will discuss Ribault’s time in our region.
Admission is free for Museum Members with a suggested donation of $5 for non-members. Seating is limited on a first come, first served basis. This program is wheelchair accessible.
