Storytelling Slam “Feast or Famine”

On Thursday, January 24 at 5:30 p.m. Friends of the Fernandina Beach Library present their 5th annual Storytelling Slam, “Feast ofrFamine.” This rip-roaring evening featuring local raconteurs fincludes a reception sponsored by Cafe Karibo, with a cash bar and votes for the best storyteller. Tickets are $50 and may be purchased at 25 North 4th Street, or online at www.fernandinafol.org.

“Feast or Famine” runs the gamut of emotions with thrills, laughs, surprises and more. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and libations first, then sit back and be regaled by some of the area’s finest storytellers. The Storytelling Slam will be held at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church’s Burns Hall, 801 Atlantic Avenue.
