Pétanque Social and EABC Mixer Event

Mar 28, 2018 02:00AM
The European American Business Club is pleased to hold its annual Pétanque Social and Mixer as their April meeting. Come to the event on April 10th at 6 p.m. to enjoy a game of pétanque, friendly conversation and networking. The pétanque courts are located at the southernmost end of Parking Lot C at the City of Fernandina Beach marina, on Front Street. EABC member Philippe Boets will be the host and fun director for the evening. Game management, coaching and equipment will be provided by members of the Amelia Island Boules Club. You do not need to already know how to play the game as the rules and exertion are quite modest.

There is no charge to attend the event, but there will be a $5.00 charge to play pétanque. The group plans to have a food truck on hand, and please bring your own folding/camp chair as seating is limited at the courts. There will be prizes for a raffle and a “closest to the pig” contest.

Everyone is invited to EABC meetings so bring your friends and guest for this fun filled evening of excitement, fellowship and yes, even gain some valuable business connections at the same time. Please RSVP no later than April 8th so the EABC knows how much equipment and how many coaches are needed: [email protected]
