Christiania Piano Quartet Performs on February 2

The Christiania Piano Quartet presents a concert at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 2600 Atlantic Avenue on February 2 at 7:30 p.m. as part of the Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival.

The Quartet artists are: David Coucheron, Violin - David Coucheron regularly performs in some of the world’s most impressive concert venues such as the Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall Weill Hall, The Kennedy Center in Washington, and with orchestras such as the BBC Philharmonic, Trondheim Philharmonic, Bergen Symphony, Oslo Philharmonic, and Sendai Philharmonic.

Julianne Lee, Violin/Viola - Julianne Lee has a distinctive career as both a violinist and violist, appearing frequently as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player. Lee had been assistant principal second violinist of the Boston Symphony orchestra prior to joining the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra this season as their new principal second violinist.

Christopher Rex, Cello - Christopher Rex founded and serves as Artistic Director of the Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival. He is also Artistic Director of the Madison Chamber Music Festival in Madison, Georgia. Mr. Rex has appeared as recitalist and chamber musician across the nation.

Julie Coucheron, Piano - Julie Coucheron has established an international career, winning first prize in all the national competitions she has attended, in addition to winning prizes in Italy, Germany and in the United States. Ms. Coucheron has worked with musicians such as Lazar Berman, Claude Frank, Emanuel Ax, Vladimir Feltsman, John O’ Connor, Elton John and Chistopher O’Riley and has toured Europe, America, South America and Asia, playing in great halls like Verizon Hall, Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center.
