Nov 15, 2017 02:00AM
One ticket, four stops, a wealth of historical information about downtown Fernandina, and a good time for all when you join Amelia Island Museum of History’s newest tour. Start making plans to join the Museum Thursday evenings at 5:30 pm to tour three of Fernandina Beach’s most popular, notorious, or otherwise historic pubs and bars. One ticket will get you one drink at each establishment and an earful of colorful tales about the places you visit as well as those you see along your way. It’s a great way to see Fernandina and learn about her history. Cost is $25 per person (must be 21, and must show ID). The tour begins at the Fernandina Beach Marine Welcome Center & Shrimping Museum, 17 S. Front Street. Reservations are required.
