Island Chamber Singers Holiday Concert on December 1 and 3

The Island Chamber Singers will perform Haydn’s masterpiece, The Creation, for a Holiday Concert on December 1 and 3 at Amelia Plantation Chapel. Featuring professional soloists soprano Kathy Kessler Price, tenor Reginald Bouknight, and bass David Scheininger, and accompanied by an orchestra, this will be a grand presentation of the first two parts of the famous oratorio that has awed listeners for more than 200 years.

The concerts will take place at Amelia Plantation Chapel, 36 Bowman Road on Friday, December 1, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, December 3, at 3 p.m. An opening night reception will be held in the Fellowship Hall immediately following Friday evening’s performance. Tickets are $20 for adults when purchased in advance of concert day.
