How to use your Smart Phone Camera and the Basics and Secrets of the iPhone/iPad

Jan 23, 2017 02:00AM
On February 11 at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Local professional photographer Bill Raser will demonstrate how to make great images with a smartphone, and John “The Computer Guy” Dyal will explain the basics and reveal the secrets of the iPhone/iPad in two workshops. Each workshop will be given at 9 and 1 a.m., so it will be possible to attend both in one morning.

The smartphone is capable of taking far more than selfies and snapshots if you know how, there are amazing features in the iPhone/iPad if you know where to look. Bill will show how to use controls and programs that give the smartphone the capabilities of a Digital Single-Lens Reflex and John will cover the basics of iPhone/iPad computing, navigating the Internet, sending and receiving email, using the calendar and special secrets not taught anywhere else. You will also learn how to explore your particular areas of interest and hobbies.

The workshops will be held at the Island Art Association, Art Education Center, at 18 N. 2nd St. in downtown Fernandina Beach. Each workshop is $40 and is limited to 15 participants. For more information or to reserve your place, contact Bill Raser, 904-557-8251, [email protected] for the Smartphone workshop, and John Dyal, 904-277-0003, [email protected] for the iPhone/iPad workshop.
