Leslie Urban is the featured artist for January at the Island Art Association, 18 N. Second St., Fernandina Beach. She has been an exhibiting member at the IAA for the past ten years.
Leslie offers treasures that will enhance both home and jewelry box. Her art consists of silver and gold jewelry, pen and ink drawings, and polymer clay gift items. She has been a silversmith for over 20 years. More than a complement to a wardrobe, her pieces are creative art with attitude. Using her unique style and imaginative designs, Leslie also uses pen and ink to create faces, abstracts, animals, and other one-of-a-kind drawings.
Originals and prints, some framed, along with greeting cards are available for purchase. She uses various materials for her jewelry including 100+ year old sea glass. Several new pieces have been added to Leslie's collection.
An Opening Reception will be held for Leslie on January 14 during Artrageous Artwalk from 5 to 7 p.m. Come meet Leslie, along with many of the other artists at Island Art Association.
