The Hope House offers the following services:
Free Clothing and Emergency Food: OA free clothes closet and emergency food pantry are open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 1:30-3:30 p.m. for anyone in need. Clothing, linens, and toiletries are provided by individuals, businesses, churches, and clubs. Food is provided by individuals, grocery stores, restaurants, businesses, churches, and an occasional grant.
Financial Assistance: Financial assistance is provided to qualified households through federal, state, local, and private grants as well as through individual donors. Availability and assistance levels vary based on program requirements. Some services are sponsored by the State of Florida Department of Children and Families.
Emergency Travel and Gas: The Hope House routinely assists families and individuals with transportation funding. In 2015, 227 families received gasoline, door to door and transit vouchers, bus tickets and inner tubes helping them get to work, the doctor, obtain IDs, go home to far-away family, and more. Funding is provided by private donors and occasional grants.
