The Navy SEAL Foundation has tapped Gray Edenfield to be the guest speaker at its September 11 Patriot Day Brunch, held from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Fernandina Beach Golf Club. Edenfield is curator of the Amelia Island Museum of History, and a cum laude graduate of Florida State University. There will also be a presentation by Robin King, Chief Executive Officer of the Navy SEAL Foundation. Music will be provided by the Fernandina Beach High School Band. Tickets are $30 and the event is sponsored by Friends of the Navy SEAL Foundation and Amelia Island Charity Group.

The Amelia Island Charity Group’s mission is to raise money, the proceeds of which will go to the Navy SEAL Foundation who provides immediate and ongoing support and assistance to the Naval Special Warfare community and their families. Their mission was not created by war, but it has been made more important and difficult as a result of it. Established to serve U.S. Navy SEALs, Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewman, Naval Special Warfare (NSW) support personnel and their families; the Navy SEAL Foundation offers critical support to Navy Special Warfare commands, active duty personnel, their families and veterans of NSW.

Reservation deadline for the Patriot Day Brunch is September 2. To make a reservation visit www.ameliaislandnavysealfoundation.org.
