If you won't be leaving town to beat the Florida heat, welcome The Waymores back to Amelia Island on Saturday, August 13 at 7:30 p.m., at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church on 801 Atlantic Avenue. Tom Kimmel, Sally Barris, and Don Henry are three of Nashville's finest singer/songwriters, quite successful as solo artists with more than a dozen albums between them, and songs recorded by Linda Rondstadt, Johhny Cash, Ray Charles, Miranda Lambert, and many others, who realized that they could make way more music and have way more fun by performing together as The Waymores.
Doors and wine bar open at 6:45 p.m. and the concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Donation is $20, with 100 per cent going directly to the artists. An Evening of Story & Song is made possible thanks to the support of First Coast Community Bank and the Community Outreach program at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.
