Summer Ghost Tours

Do you believe in ghosts? Ghost tours provide tourists (and locals) the opportunity to brush shoulders with spirits, or at the least, hear a few ghostly tales. Guests who participate in an Amelia Island Museum of History Ghost Tour will learn about local ghost stories as they tiptoe through dark streets and walk in the footsteps of a bygone era as the past comes alive through the skillful storytelling of a knowledgeable guide. This tour begins at 6 p.m. every Friday and lasts approximately one hour. Meet your guide in the cemetery behind St. Peters Episcopal church located at 801 Atlantic Avenue. Tickets may be purchased at the Museum for $10 for adults and $5 for students, or before the tour from the guide with check or cash only.
The Amelia Island Museum of History is located at 233 South 3rd Street. For more information on Ghost Tours and other tours, visit www.ameliamuseum.org or call (904) 261-7378.
