Hosted by Go Yoga Amelia, 108 Sun Salutations will be performed on the beach, along with chanting, and the ringing of bowls, followed by Moonlight Drum Circle on the beach in the evening. Don't miss this sacred event; the entire world will be celebrating the Summer Solstice and World Yoga Day. This event was recently sanctioned by the United Nations. There will be millions of yogis the world over completing the sacred number 108 Sun Salutations starting at 8 a.m. and ending about 10 or 10:30 a.m. Bring mat, water, towel, and a friend!
A Moonlight Drum Circle begins at sunset at Dee Dee Bartles Boat Ramp Pavilion. Bring drums, bells, tambourines, and chimes, and join others as they chant and drum to the moon. Both events are free, and donations are gratefully accepted.
