Painting Skies and Reflections with Michael Story June 21, 22, 23 - 9 to 4, $350. $100 Deposit required.

This 3-day workshop will help you develop a complete understanding of how to plan and execute landscapes in oils or acrylics with an emphasis on painting skies and water. We'll begin with an initial charcoal drawing followed by a red wash/underpainting. On top of this, we'll start our process of layering color, going dark to light. All my working methods will be demonstrated and broken down into a step-by-step process, showing you how to achieve fresh, bright color in your landscapes, while avoiding muddy mixtures. Artists can bring their own photos to work from or paint using reference I'll bring to class. To sign up, or for more information, call 803-356-4268.
