Cummer Camps for Kids

The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens will be holding summer art camps for elementary and middle school children. Their schedule is as follows:

Elementary children entering grades 1 through 6 are invited to participate in classes for printing, drawing, painting, and working with clay. Camp is offered from June 13 through July 29, and runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Children may be enrolled in up to two weeklong sessions of camp. Each session is $180 for members and $200 for non-members.The Cummer will also offer extended care hours for elementary students only. Morning extended hours are $20 per week, 8 to 8:45 a.m. Extended afternoon hours are $30 per week, 3:30 to 5 p.m.

Middle school art students entering grades 6 through 9 are also invited to build their portfolios and advance their skills in painting, printmaking, drawing, and clay. Middle school camp runs from August 1 through August 5. The HEAL Foundation sponsors a Camp Cummer scholarship for children living with autism.
