The Colorful World of Jose Garcia

Please join Amelia Island artist, Jose Garcia to see and enjoy some of his latest mixed media designs using alcohol inks, masked watercolors and dimensional-paint creations.

This 2-day exhibit and sale will open at noon and run until 8 p.m. on Friday, March 11, and Saturday, March 12. Included in Mr. Garcia's show will be his newest alcohol ink originals on clayboard, canvases, and ceramic tiles. Some pieces include a masking process that is also used in watercolors. In addition, some of his recent watercolor and dimensional paintings will also be for sale, including his series of many colored and fantastic Parrot Fish.

During the 2-day event, Mr. Garcia will be demonstrate some of his painting techniques and will be happy to engage and answer questions with visitors. The Saturday evening event will coincide with the Artrageous Artwalk of downtown Fernandina Beach art galleries.

This event is free and open to the public will be held in historic downtown Fernandina Beach at 18 North 2nd Street in the Island Art Association Education Building.
