The Fernandina Beach Parks & Recreation Department is committed to enriching the quality of life through exceptional programs, parks, and other facilities, while preserving the community’s natural environment for the enjoyment of Amelia Island’s citizens. The Parks & Recreation Department is responsible for city parks, sports and fitness facilities, recreation centers, swimming pools, Egan’s Creek Greenway, Amelia Island Lighthouse Tours, Bosque Bello Cemetery, Landscaping of historic downtown Fernandina Beach, and local bicycle routes.

The Department also offers various adult and youth sports and activities, aquatics programs, youth camps, senior programs, instructed programs, and special events. This is a great time of theyear to check out the Atlantic Recreation Center and the Peck Center for swimming lessons, water aerobics, fitness classes, yoga, and more!
