The 2nd Annual Treasured Tree Trolley Tour

Mar 30, 2015 02:00AM
The Steering Committee of the Amelia Tree Conservancy invites you to join them for their second annual Treasured Tree Trolley Tour on Sunday, April 26. Last year the ATC focused on the northern end of Amelia Island, so this year the focus will be on the southern end. The ticket price is $20 per person. The trolley will depart from the Fernandina Beach Golf Club parking lot promptly at 2 p.m. and end there at 5 p.m. A reception for participants will follow at the Golf Club. Please note that the trolley will not be able to accommodate wheelchairs and those having difficulty climbing stairs onto the trolley.

The trolley will explore various neighborhoods and locations, visiting some of our most treasured trees. As participants experience these beautiful areas, special guests will share science, history, business development, public policy, ecology, and more throughout the afternoon. The Trolley Tour is our celebration of Arbor Day, which is April 24. The Amelia Tree Conservancy greatly appreciates the generous support of Vystar Credit Union as our exclusive sponsor this year for the Treasured Tree Trolley Tour.
