Jewelry has always been a family business for Gigi Grubner. She got her start in 1991 working with her sister and brother-in-law at Weissers Jewelers in upstate New York. When her husband John was recruited to help open the new Harris Teeter Store on Amelia Island in 2000, they decide to pack their children and two furry family members and move to Amelia Island’s sunny climate. Seven years ago, with “$50 and a dream,” and by the grace of God, Amelia’s Fine Jewelry was born.

“Amelia Island is a great place to live and work,” says Grubner. “Getting to know the locals and visitors who stop by our store makes everyday something special.” Inside their Centre Street location, you’ll find a jewelry store a little out of the ordinary. “Unique, personal, and fun is our motto,” says Grubner. “Many one-of-a-kind pieces make our store unique, and our friendly staff offers personal service in a relaxed, island atmosphere.”

Along with fine jewelry from all over the world, Amelia’s Fine Jewelry offers custom-designed jewelry, as well as redesign, repairs, or remounts to repurpose your well-loved favorites. Stop in to see the selection of estate jewelry they have discovered in their travels and through Gigi’s selective jewelry consignment. And, if you love Amelia Island as much as the Grubners do, check out their Amelia Island signature pendants, beads, bracelets, Larimar turtle pendants, and other sea life designs.
