The 8th Annual Benefit Gala for Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau County will be held at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island on Saturday, January 17. The evening will feature Crescendo Amelia, an outstanding 21-piece band, playing music that spans the decades from the 1920s to today. This event has become a must-go on the Amelia Island social calendar and reservations are at capacity. Opportunities to attend the cocktail reception, dinner, and silent auction sometimes open up at the last minute, so a phone call to (904) 261-8666 or email to [email protected] will get your name on the waiting list.

But participation in the silent auction is open to all, whether at the event or from home. At midnight on January 6, bidding on auction items will open and may be accessed at either, or from the Clubs’ website at A great variety of highly-attractive auction items include local adventures, vacations at renowned resorts, wining and dining, works of art, and more. All proceeds from the benefit go to support the operations of the two Boys and Girls Clubs, one in Nassauville and the other in Fernandina Beach. So even if you aren’t at the Gala, you can be part of this worthwhile event.
