Patchington opened its doors on Amelia Island in 2009, offering chic, yet sensible clothing for women of discerning taste. The Florida-based company selected Amelia Island because they felt the quaint resort environment, unique shopping, restaurants, and relaxed atmosphere was a great fit for their brand. Nancy Barnes was recently hired to manage the store, having previously worked there as a sales associate. “Women love Patchington because the store celebrates individuality and inspires customers, staff, vendors, and the community to indulge in and enjoy self-expression,” says Nancy. “The company’s positive, relationship-based approach to doing business builds enthusiasm and confidence.”

Nancy is bringing her own individual ideas to Patchington by hosting special events and fashion shows in the area. A clothing trade-in event benefits Micah’s Place, and a fashion show at Osprey Village brings fashion and fun directly to their clients. “Patchington is involved in the community,” says Nancy. “That’s one of things I love most about this company.”

In addition to Nancy, you’ll find Susan and Lynn eager to assist their customers. “Our sales associates are always available to help you coordinate and accessorize your wardrobe,” says Nancy. “Our staff is empowered to create positive, relationships with our customers. We’re all about having fun, creative self-expression, and building lasting relationships.” Patchington also offers after-hours parties and free fashion advice.
