9th Annual Pasta for Paws

Sep 08, 2014 02:00AM
On Saturday, October 26, the Nassau Humane Society will hold its 9th Annual Pasta for Paws dinner at the Atlantic Avenue Recreation Center. A favorite yearly event, Pasta for Paws features a homemade spaghetti and meatball dinner that includes salad, bread, beverages, and desserts, with wine for sale by the glass. The dinner is held 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. and take-out is available. The cost is $14 per person, and children under 6 are free. Tickets are for sale at the door.

The Nassau County Humane Society is a no-kill shelter, providing adoption services, animal rescue, spay/neuter programs, fostering, and they also operate a dog park. Pasta for Paws is just one of their numerous fundraisers held throughout the year. If you are interested in sponsoring a table call Penny Landregan at (904) 277-1152.
