Brown Bag Lunch with Tom Raymond
Aug 27, 2014 02:00AM
The Amelia Island Museum of History invites you to its next Brown Bag Lunch on Wednesday, September 3 at noon. Special guest Tom Raymond will be discussing an alternative history of the eight flags. Raymond will make a case for the first eight flags to fly over Amelia Island, as he sees them, contrasting them with the eight we currently recognize. His program is to examine the raw facts, the art, and science of the region’s banners posted over the island throughout the years, exploring the sovereignty of the original inhabitants, voyagers, and settlers.
This program is free and open to the public, and bring your own brown bag lunch. For more information contact Gray at 261-7378 ext 102, or [email protected]
