Go Yoga Amelia Island

When Gianna Ragona-Suarez worked in the corporate world, she spent every evening teaching yoga at a local studio in Connecticut. After a while, she realized that she was meant to have her own yoga studio and put the corporate world behind her. Gianna came to yoga because of a car accident, which left her in a neck brace with severe migraines. She attributes her healing to the regular practice of yoga, and she experienced a complete recovery in a very short time.

When Gianna saw that Go Yoga Amelia Island was for sale in 2012, she bought the studio and moved to Amelia Island permanently. Since then she has moved Go Yoga Amelia to a new location, a bigger and brighter studio off Sadler Road, which allows her to offer a wide variety of styles and levels to suit every person at every level. “I have a global view of yoga,” says Gianna. “I spent time in India, and the yoga I bring to Amelia Island is an ancient, classic style that joins body movement with breathing techniques. We offer a broad spectrum of classes, from beginners to advanced, and we focus on yoga as a process, along with wellness and nutrition.”

Besides yoga classes, Go Yoga Amelia offers a comprehensive 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification Course throughout the year, along with workshops and guest lectures from some of the best yoga instructors from around the globe. Classes are offered every day. For their complete schedule, visit www.goyogaamelia.com, call (904) 335-0539, or email Gianna at [email protected].
