Rick Cooper was once the owner of Amelia Island Plantation, and he still owns commercial properties here on the island. Since running his law practice in Cleveland, Ohio doesn’t give him much time to manage his local properties, he hired Dan Nolan to help him out. Nolan had worked in Planning and Development at Amelia Island Plantation for 18 years, and he was eager to bring some new ideas to the table. Between the two of them, Isle of Amelia Executive Suites was born, offering upscale professional office space on the south end of the island.

Nolan says that there are no other properties on the island which offer full-service office amenities for one inclusive price. “We saw a need for a place like this,” he said. “We renovated the property back in 2010, and now we lease offices in the building. The thing that makes our facility different is that we offer a full-service office space. We have a receptionist and lobby, a business center, security, internet and wireless, a conference room, community break room, mail and package delivery, janitorial services, and open access parking.” Nolan’s wife, Sharon, is chief financial officer of the company. They live on Amelia Island with their granddaughter, Courtney. They have five children and seven grandchildren together.

Isle of Amelia Executive Suites is now leasing its Phase 2 office spaces, which include build-to-suit office space. They are located at 5422 First Coast Highway. For more information, call (904) 753-4179 or email [email protected].
