Honey Badgers at Sounds on Centre

Apr 02, 2014 02:00AM
Honey Badger don’t care, but we sure do! Yes, we care about this groovy Fernandina Beach band, featuring Mike Devareaux, percussion, Vic Deacon, guitar, Ray Hetchka, bass, Hupp Huppman, guitar, Hal London, drums, with special guests Dan Voll, guitar and Amy Nixon, fiddle. They’ll be performing on Friday, April 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. during the first Sounds on Centre concert series. Welcome Spring with your family and friends as the Honey Badgers rock downtown with an all Beatles show this Friday.

The Historic Fernandina Beach Association (downtown merchants) announces something different for the kick-off of this season’s concert events with great songs from probably the greatest band of all time, The Beatles. Bring your chair, your dancing shoes, your kids, neighbors, and everyone you know – and be sure to get to Centre Street early to get a good spot. The free two hour performance is slated to be a non-stop greatest hits run-down of those superb “Fab Four” Beatles songs that we all love and know by heart, spanning the Beatles’ entire ’64-’71 career.

Sounds on Centre is sponsored by a long list of local firms dedicated to the enrichment of Downtown Fernandina Beach. The theme this season is “Keepin’ It Local.”
