Friends of the Fernandina Beach Library Book Sale

Mar 19, 2014 02:00AM
It’s not too late to contribute items to the Friends of the Fernandina Beach Library Book Sale – BUT, let’s not wait until last minute either! Their next book sale is April 3 through 5, and to break another sales record, the library needs more books and DVDs. Children’s books are always in demand, as well. If you’re doing some Spring cleaning, why not take some time and go through your shelves and weed out some of your books. Then you’ll have room for more!

Don’t wait until the last minute to contribute. It takes weeks to sort and categorize the titles to make it easy for book lovers to find what they want. Look for the red book drop behind the gymnasium at the Peck Center on 11th St.  Larger donations can be left in the Peck School, 516 South 10th Street. Go in the front entrance (Fir Street between S. 10th and S. 11th Streets), turn right and look for the Friends of the Library sign on your left, next to the stairwell.

If you have a really big donation, contact Annie Sparkle, book sale chair, at [email protected] are still needed during the sale. Gigi Feazell, [email protected], will be happy to schedule you!
