On November 22 at 6:30 p.m., the Nassau County Volunteer Center invites you to experience the excellent cuisine of Northeast Florida's finest restaurants, at its yearly fundraiser, Taste of Amelia. The vent this year will be held at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Ballroom, serving cocktails from 6:30 to 7 p.m., and the tasting from 7 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person, and include an enormous variety of foods from the following eateries: Courtyard Pub & Eats, Crab Trap, Espaňa, Fancy Sushi, Golf Club of Amelia, Happy Tomato Café, Horizons, Joe’s 2nd Street Bistro, Kelley’s Courtyard Café, LaMancha, Merge, O’Kane’s Irish Pub & Eatery, Omni Amelia Island Plantation (Verandah and Marché Burette), Pecan Roll Bakery, Peterbrooke Chocolatier, Peppers Mexican Restaurant, Salty Pelican, Slider’s Seaside Grill, and more. This year's event theme is "Island Holidays". Semi-formal dress is suggested.
There will be live music by the Honey Badgers and a unique silent auction, raffle, plus a selection of fine wines. Tickets may be purchased at the following locations. Century 21/John T.
