Cummelia Lunch & Tour

On November 7 from noon to 3 p.m., the Cummer Museum is presenting a special lunch and tour event for Cummelia members, Amelia Islanders who support the Jacksonville Museum. The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens is committed to engage and inspire through the arts, gardens and education. A permanent collection of nearly 5,000 works of art and historic gardens on a riverfront campus offers more than 110,000 annual visitors a truly unique experience on the First Coast. Nationally recognized education programs serve adults and children of all abilities.

The event will begin with a delicious lunch prepared by The Café at The Cummer and a tour through Modern Dialect: American Paintings from the John and Susan Horseman Collection and The Prints of William Walmsley led by Chief Curator Holly Keris and Associate Director of Education Maggie Reynolds. Cost is $35 for Cummelia Members and $45 for non-members. Reservations are available on line or contact Susan Lee at 904-899-6033 for reservations by credit card. The Cummer is located at 829 Riverside Ave., Jacksonville. The museum does not mail tickets but rather checks names at the door. Consider coming to the Museum early as The Cummer will be hosting a school tour funded by Rayonier through Cummelia from 10 to 11:30 a.m. or to tour the new J. Wayne and Delores Barr Weaver Community Sculpture Garden & Plaza.
