The Council on Aging invites you to take a “Sentimental Journey” with them on Friday, October 4. It’s time for their 10th annual fundraiser and this year’s outing is sure to be a very special event. Limited to only 200 tickets, this Art Deco-themed Gala will be held in the newly renovated Omni Amelia Island Plantation and Resort. This year’s Gala will feature music, dance performances, live and silent auctions and many more surprises. More information is on the way – to inquire about the event, call the Council on Aging office at: (904) 261-0701.

This fundraising event is an excellent opportunity for individuals and corporations to provide financial support and sponsorship to the Council on Aging of Nassau County and its ongoing mission to ensure the quality of life to Nassau County senior citizens. The Council on Aging delivers critical services to Nassau County seniors in five categories including Meals on Wheels, COA Transportation, In-Home Care, and Adult Day Health Care, while operating two senior recreation centers.
