Goin’ Coastal Music Series

Sep 11, 2013 02:00AM
There have always been a lot of specialized music festivals in the area, but never has there been a group that has come onto Amelia Island and brought a wide variety of music to an outside venue. That is where Goin’ Coastal feels they are different. Their group consists of Big O Production, Dog Star Tavern, and the City of Fernandina Beach Recreation Department. They have joined forces with one common goal, to bring amazing music to the island, presented in an outdoor concert form.

On October 5, Goin’ Coastal Music Series presents The Lee Boys, with supporting acts Parker Urban Band, and Spred The Dub, at Buccaneer Field. This is just one of the four concerts held throughout the year. Tickets are only $10 in advance, and $15 at the gate. The music begins at 5:30 p.m., immediately after the city of Fernandina Beach’s 5th Annual Butts and Brisket competition. Refreshments will be served. Tickets can be purchased at the Atlantic Recreation Center and the Dog Star Tavern. For more information call (904) 277-7350.
