Nothing goes better with crispy southern-fried catfish than a succulent serving of music! And festival goers can feast on this and much more during Kingsland, Georgia's Annual Labor Day Weekend Catfish Festival which runs from Saturday through Monday, August 31 to September 2. Kingsland is just a short drive from Amelia Island; located in the far southeast corner of the Georgia coast off of Interstate 95 at Exit 3, Kingland was named by Oprah Winfrey to be 'Lovetown, USA'.

Kingsland’s three-day Catfish Festival is the largest festival in Southeast Georgia, and scheduled events include a parade, free concerts, arts and crafts booths, southern fried catfish, a variety of food booths, antiques and collectibles, entertainment, children's amusement area, a 5K run, a classic car and tractor exhibition, and the annual Lions Club Pancake Breakfast.
