Restaurant Week a Tasty Treat

Jan 21, 2013 07:22AM
Amelia Island Restaurant Week got off to a tasty start on Friday, January 18, as Amelia Island restaurants and their chefs cooked up some amazing dishes – and the word on the street is that diners are thrilled. The event, which wraps up on Sunday, January 27, is the premier dining event held annually on historic Amelia Island. Diners may spend the entire week (and two weekends) touring some of Amelia Island’s finest restaurants, and dining on a variety of traditional and eclectic menu offerings. Each restaurant will offer a prix-fixe menu including three courses and a non-alcoholic beverage for either $20.13 or $30.13.

Amelia Island Restaurant Week’s goal is to increase awareness of the many dining opportunities available on the island, as well as stimulating business and revenue for local eateries. Diners can look forward to enjoying special values at their favorite restaurants, and discover new ones, as well.

Since Restaurant Week is a very popular event, it is strongly urged that diners make reservations in advance. For a listing of 19 Amelia Island restaurants, their phone numbers, and links to their personal web sites, visit:
