Museum of History to Host Golf Tournament

Jan 16, 2013 02:00AM
On Friday, February 8, the Amelia Island Museum of History will be hosting its 11th Annual Golf Tournament at The Golf Club of Amelia Island. The entry fee of $150 includes all greens and cart fees, a pre-tournament reception for golfers, sponsors and guests, lots of special prizes, and an awards presentation with heavy hors d’oeuvres.

The tournament is handicap scramble format, and golfers are encouraged to form their own foursomes or be paired with other players. The registration closes on January 25, and there are a limited amount of spaces available. Non-golfers who want to get involved can become sponsors at various levels. This is Amelia Island’s premier golf outing, with money raised going to the Museum’s educational programs, lectures, exhibits, and more. For information or to reserve your space,  contact Gray at 261-7378 ext. 102 or [email protected]. This year's tournament is sponsored by SunTrust Bank.
