On May 17 at 6:30 p.m., children are invited to the 3rd annual Stuffed Animal Sleepover at Villa Villekulla Toy Store, 5 South 2nd Street. Wear your pajamas and bring a stuffed animal for craft time and a bedtime story! Then your stuffed animal can stay for a slumber party (optional), eating snacks, playing in the store, exploring downtown and probably staying up very late. Please bring an adult for craft and story time, chaperones will be provided for your plush friends overnight. Come back Sunday morning to pick up your friend between 10 and noon and find out what kind of shenanigans happen after dark at the toy store. Every attendee comes home with a party favor, too! Registration and pre-payment is required, space is very limited. Tickets are $5 plus fees (per stuffed animal). All proceeds benefit Ferst Readers, a non-profit that promotes early childhood literacy by providing FREE books monthly to any child in Nassau county under the age of 5.
