Amelia Island is pleased to welcome a new business to the community, the Law Office of Marcella A. Taylor, P.A. Marcella was born and raised in Jacksonville, and she felt called to the legal profession in high school. After 12 years working as a paralegal in Elder Law, she decided to pursue her career at Florida Coastal School of Law. Upon graduation, she opened her own practice specializing in the same.
“I want to help people,” shares Marcella. “I see my business as a ministry, and I work with flat-fee rates to ensure all people can receive the help they need with Social Security Disability, estate planning, powers of attorney, probate, and all Elder Law matters.”
In April, Marcella, who has lived with her husband on Amelia Island for four years, opened her Amelia Island office. The office is open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Marcella is also available at other times and places, including hospitals and nursing homes, by request. “We love the small town feel and sense of community on Amelia Island,” says Marcella. “We visit the Farmer’s Market, and the Island spirit just feels like you’re always on vacation.” Marcella opened her new office to serve the people of Amelia Island, to give back, and to work in the community she loves. “It’s been rewarding to meet my new clients and professionally connect and serve the people right here in the neighborhood.” For more information, visit www.christianattorneytaylor.com or call (904) 714-0307.
