Guests on the Amelia Island Museum of History’s Ghost Tours will learn ghost stories while tiptoe-ing through dark street and walking in the footsteps of a bygone era as the past comes alive through the storytelling of a guide.
The tours begin at 6 p.m., every Friday. Meet your guide in the cemetery behind St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 801 Atlantic Avenue. Tickets may be purchased at the Museum for $10 for adults, and $5 for students, or before the tour with check or cash only.
The Museum is also offering free admission 4 to 6 p.m. most Fridays during the summer. Visitors can learn about the history of Amelia Island while exploring the Museum’s exhibits, including a Discovery Ship, Timucuan Village, Footprints in Time, and many more. The Amelia Island Museum of History is located at 233 South 3rd Street.
