elebrating 25 years as a small family-owned and -managed home furnishings consignment shop, Amelia’s Attic Furniture has grown into a multi-faceted, full-service furniture store. Located at 2164 Sadler Road, the store has expanded their new inventory over the years based on requests by customers. Consignment remain popular, with items rapidly selling, sometimes right as they arrive. A sizable selection of new furniture for every room of the house and patio provides a pleasant shopping experience, with inventory changing weekly. The store also offers custom ordering and features a tremendous selection of wall art.
Owners Sylvia Gedeon and her daughter, Jennifer Crews, provide a welcoming environment for customers to stop in and browse often. Amelia’s Attic Furniture considers their staff as family! They serve customers by helping them sell items they can’t use, then assisting them in furnishing their homes, offering moderate prices and, whenever possible, American-made products.
One of their favorite parts of the business is when customers say they are happy in their surroundings, purchased at Amelia’s Attic Furniture. Sylvia’s late mother, Vickie Poole, helped in the early days, along with a couple of devoted employees. After college, Jennifer worked in Atlanta before returning home to Fernandina Beach. She has been at Amelia’s Attic for 14 years, helping customers create beautiful coastal homes. For more information, call (904) 277-2095 or visit www.ameliaislandfurniture.com. They are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
