uality Health of Fernandina Beach opened in 1984, the only skilled nursing facility of its kind on Amelia Island, offering rehabilitation services, as well as long-term and palliative care. A 120-bed facility, one quarter of Quality Health’s residents are short-term rehab patients, the majority of whom are discharged to their homes after rehabilitation.

With a mission statement that reads “to serve selflessly with a loving smile and compassionate heart,” Quality Health Administrator Stephen Jordan believes their staff is what makes their facility different. “We are a family here,” he says. “Our patients are our friends and neighbors. Some of our team members have worked here for over 30 years. Our longevity is high value for our patients.” Admissions Director Chasta Moore believes Quality Health’s success is driven by the quality services available to patients and residents alike. “We offer speech, occupational, and physical therapy, along with comprehensive medical care on all levels,” she says. “But we also have music, art, and pet therapy, and many activities that provide our patients quality of life, like outings and field trips. We’re also very involved with community activities, like the Shrimp Festival.”

Medical Director Dr. Edward Tribuzio has been caring for patients at Quality Health for over 34 years. “Our team of physicians, nurses, therapists, dietary, and social workers works with a collective purpose to help you rehabilitate, recharge, and recommit to living your best life,” says Jordan.
