On February 10 at 1 p.m., Paul Greco presents a lecture, “Seeing South Africa” at the American Beach Community Center. Learn about South Africa history and how it became of nation of varied people beginning 3,000,000 years ago, along with the animals that today populate the Kruger National Park.
“Seeing South Africa” is the understanding of how the country relates to world and US history, as well as the significant past of American Beach. It took one man sitting in his jail cell for over 20 years to awake the collective conscience everywhere.
Paul Greco is a part time resident on Amelia Island. He first came to the island in 1986 after leaving his home in Philadelphia for a brief family vacation. He has worked as salesman, sales manager, and then finally as a business development executive. Approximately 30 years was dedicated in these capacities to one of the largest water and waste management companies in the world. He twice earned this corporation’s highest sales award for business development and customer retention. Mr. Greco attributes his success in sales to childhood interactions on the streets and ball fields in Philadelphia.
