riving past First Coast Community Bank on South 14th Street, you might notice a new “Synovus” sign on the building. The sign is new, but the bank has been part of the Synovus family since 1991. “What’s unique about Synovus is our leaders are able to make local decisions for our customers,” says Damon Olinto, Market President. “By joining together 28 bank divisions across the Southeast to become one Synovus, we provide the same services as the larger banks. But we’re still the same bank, with the same friendly people.”
“We have the same commitment to our clients as we always have, and we treat them the way we would want to be treated,” says Antoinette Richter, a local Synovus Retail Market Manager. “Being customer-focused and results-oriented, with a desire to help others achieve their best, we advise our clients about the financial services we offer.” Richter lives in Fernandina Beach with her husband and two children. She’s a member of the Chamber of Commerce, a graduate of Leadership Nassau, and belongs to the Rotary Club. “I love this community and enjoy giving back,” says Antoinette. “We’re so lucky to live where other people vacation. Our customers are also our friends and neighbors.”
“Our new Synovus branding allows our clients to connect with other Synovus banks throughout the Southeast,” says Olinto. “That means more convenience for our customers.” Adds Olinto, “Synovus is the best company I’ve ever worked for. It’s a culture of the heart.” For more information, call (904) 321-2839 or visit 1750 South 14th Street.
