On June 17, the Trinity Love Hoblit Foundation welcomes the public to its Inaugural Gala from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, to support and fund neuroscience research for stroke and aneurysm for pediatric and adult patients receiving treatment at Wolfson Children’s Hospital and Baptist Neurological Institute. Trinity Hoblit, who was born with a rare form of primordial dwarfism, was diagnosed with multiple brain aneurysm at age 9, and over the years went through multiple brain surgeries. Trinity was scheduled for an open brain surgery for aneurysm clipping, but two days prior to her pre-op, her aneurysm ruptured and she passed away on June 30, 2015 at age 14.
The Inaugural Gala will help raise awareness and educate the public in the fields of neuroscience, and support local education facilities and schools. 100% of the net proceeds received by the Foundation are donated back to the community for Neuroscience research for stroke and aneurysm. A portion of all gifts to the Trinity Love Hoblit Foundation Endowment at Wolfson Children’s will be matched by Baptist Health.
